Spirit Soul

Chapter 269 Arashi's Uniform

"It\'s much harder to create these Elemental wings than I expected," Selene grumbled, two masses of masses sprouting out of her shoulder blades.

A few days had passed since Kyle forced the Giganto Eagles to leave. Jaden was still astonished at how Kyle \'tamed\' the untamable beasts but he got to know Kyle\'s secret as well.

The nurture ability was exceptional but it was almost entirely useless without it being combined with the Spirit Soul trait Kyle\'s race had.

Combined they were extremely powerful, and it was possible for Arashi, Selene, Aurora, and Jaden to be nourished a bit.

The amount of energy their body required to be developed beyond its innate talent was enormous, and Kyle didn\'t have enough soul particles to nourish everyone.

"It definitely isn\'t easy." Kyle nodded his head. However, both could only frown when they saw that both Beatrice and Yasmine were flying through the air.

Yasmine\'s phoenix wings were folded together, tightly lying on her back. But the wings manifested from her phoenix flames were completely different. They were magnificent and could be mistaken for ordinary wings. That was how detailed they were.

As for Beatrice\'s wings, they were purely made out of blood. At first, this looked extremely gruesome and it was hard for her to use them to fly. But thanks to her comprehension, there was no problem for Beatrice to figure out the issues.

Both Beatrice and Yasmine were existences with extremely high innate talent. They were born as races with stronger physiques, better talent, and higher comprehension.

Thus, it was only obvious that they had advantages over them. Their teachings had also been better, and more profound, and they were trained from a young age.

Beatrice was extremely old at that and she had more than enough time to learn how to learn and understand something properly.

As for Yasmine, Kyle believed that her comprehension was lower than Beatrice\'s. However, Yasmine knew how to fly, how wings were actually used, and what they required to hold her in the air.

Even Arashi could manifest wings before Kyle, but that was because the Spirit Soul was an existence with the memories of the wind elemental affinity.

Kyle merely gained access to the wind affinity due to his bond with Arashi. It was not actually his affinity, even if his Spirit Soul possessed it.

Selene, on the other hand, was struggling a lot. She could control her affinity precisely but her imagination was not great enough to allow her to manifest wings, let alone to fly through the air. It was something her elemental affinity shouldn\'t be able to do according to her logic.

Beatrice and Yasmine were trying to help Selene but every affinity was different. Thus, it was quite difficult to actually provide help.

Meanwhile, Kyle could help himself quite well. He was on the right way and could use Arashi as his role model for the creation of the Wings of Ilusia.

There was no need to help him. Days passed and when everyone except Selene could manifest their wings of Ilusia, they were only waiting for her, while approaching Xira, the border city to the adjacent kingdom of the Anadra kingdom.

It was another kingdom of the Aldra race, called Glaciar. However, contrary to the Thunderclaw kingdom, the Glaciar kingdom had a truce with the Anadra kingdom.

In fact, they accepted even the Lohar race after the events that had occurred in the last few months. The king of the Glaciar kingdom didn\'t like the war from the beginning.

He was not a pacifist, but he didn\'t like war, even less if it was not a necessary war that had to be fought.

That was also why Kyle was quite expectant about the Glaciar kingdom, which they would have to pass by in order to enter the forbidden forest.

They could have taken a shorter route, but it would lead them through the Thunderclaw kingdom. Unfortunately, the Thunderclaw kingdom was still not exactly peaceful toward other races, especially the Lohar race.

With two Lohars, Selene and Jaden, in their group, it would be suicidal to walk through the Thunderclaw kingdom in the belief that nothing would happen.

Time was not running out and Kyle could use the Live-updating dragonscale map to their advantage. With the map, they approached the biggest border city between the Anadra kingdom and the Glaciar kingdom.

Through this, it would be possible for them to figure out the actual behavior of the Aldras race in the Glaciar kingdom, and if they were truly amiable toward Lohars and other races.

This was important because they would have to spend a few weeks, possibly even more than a month within the Glaciar kingdom before they passed through it.

Afterward, they would have to fly through a small part of the Nasgar race\'s tribal territory before they would finally reach the forbidden forest.

Kyle thought that it would take around three to four months before they would reach the cross-marked section on the dragonscale map. At this time, Kyle wanted to advance to the Krysal stage and reach the Mid Krysal stage, at the bare minimum.

At best, he would reach the Lowest Acerta stage, after all, they would be able to survive many tricky situations like that.

The forbidden forest was even dangerous for Acerta stage Cultivators, and only with superior combat prowess would they survive at the Acerta stage.

That being said, Kyle had to accelerate his cultivation, while Arashi would have to do the same.

"Aurora, let\'s test the Sprite Armor around Arashi again. Arashi and I are one being, so it should be possible. Just try again, please." Kyle asked, looking at Aurora, who froze mid-air.

She began to shiver and looked at him pouting, and with puppy eyes.

"Whyyyyy? I don\'t want to… I don\'t mind becoming your Sprite Armor, but I feel squeezed while being your Spirit Soul\'s Sprite armor. He is just too small…can\'t we wait until he grows up, you said that wouldn\'t take too long…" Aurora complained, not even bothering to lower her voice.

Kyle merely smiled before he sighed deeply.

\'I said it might take years…that is definitely not short...\'

However, he couldn\'t start fighting with Aurora. It might be possible for him to order her around, but it wouldn\'t be helpful if she was not willing.

The effectiveness of her Sprite armor would be much lower if she did something by force.

Furthermore, Kyle never wanted to for Aurora to do anything she didn\'t want to.

\'Arashi would be able to reach maturity much faster if Aurora wouldn\'t be that stubborn.\' Kyle sighed inwardly, his eyes fixated on her.

They were still walking through the forest, approaching Xira, but he was more interested in Aurora\'s behavior.

He needed Arashi to grow as quickly as possible. After his next evolution, he ought to reach the Acerta stage at maturity. It shouldn\'t even be necessary for him to undergo a third mutation. That was what Kyle believed and he was usually correct whenever something revolved around the nurture ability or Arashi.

"What if you use your Sprite armor on both Kyle and Arashi? If they\'re one being, just use it on both." Beatrice suddenly said.

When Aurora said that Arashi was too small, Beatrice got this idea. With her plan, Aurora wouldn\'t have to squeeze herself somewhere, and she should be able to support both Kyle and Arashi.

"Splitting myself? That….sounds….fun!" Aurora exclaimed before she disappeared in the fairy symbol on the back of Kyle\'s right hand.

Afterward, Arashi landed on Kyle\'s shoulder, just for a coat to cover him.

It didn\'t look ferocious in any way, or like a piece of armor for beasts. Rather, one could say that his coat looked cute on Arashi.

Yasmine and Selene screamed out, while Beatrice\'s crimson eyes glowed up. However, before they approached Arashi, they could perceive that a small tank top covered Kyle\'s body.

It was azure in color and didn\'t look all that special. However, the image of the fairy that could also be seen on the back of his hand was also on the tank top,

"That… looks oddly…good." Selene blurted out looking at Kyle. She was a little bit confused but was pretty sure that the tank top looked decent.

But Kyle was certainly not pleased. He frowned deeply and only when he heard Aurora\'s voice in his head did he calm down.

[Master, don\'t be enraged!! This is my first attempt and it\'s better than nothing, right?? This is soooo cool!! Just wait for it, I will give you a nice cape again.]

\'As if I care about that cape…\' Kyle thought, shaking his head, not realizing that he truly cared about that cape, or rather not to look like a clown in front of the others.

However, even if he didn\'t care about the cape, this tank top was truly annoying.

However, he could only accept Aurora\'s words for the time being. She felt comfortable and even had fun. That being said, Arashi could grow faster absorbing the surrounding energies and converting them to Soul force.

"That can even be helpful for me…if Arashi can create Soul force faster, I can cultivate faster as well…" He mumbled, realizing that Aurora\'s ability to split up and cover both with her Sprite armor was fascinating.

"Aurora, can you change your Sprite armor around Arashi to give him merely a necklace or something like that, while providing 100% of the Sprite armor\'s effectiveness? As for the Sprite armor around me, either give me a cape or turn it into a belt or so. I don\'t like this tank top…"

[Urgh….okay, boss….]
